The Epic 5 highlights our obsessive nature to create products that will exceed our customer's needs. In this case, our goal was to create a reasonably priced near-field studio monitor, with great attention to detail, carefully balanced, technically up-to-date, with no design compromises – in an aesthetically pleasing package. We Sweat the Details For even sound reproduction, we focused on linear signal response and its temporal and harmonic aspects. In and out swing behavior is balanced across the entire bandwidth. Equal material properties of the sound-forming components result in a homogeneous sound, in which all components perform harmoniously, avoiding the need for artificial DSP compensation.
